How the house is used
Juan Del Mar sits on the edge of Chalk Sound, the shallow turquoise lagoon that is protected as a national park and is one of the most photographed places in the Turks and Caicos. The house faces the water, the pool faces the water, and the shoreline at the bottom of the garden is yours.
The villa is arranged over two floors, each with a full kitchen and its own living area. Owners can keep one level and give guests the other, families can spread out, and rental guests get the privacy of a home rather than a house share. It is far more flexibility than a conventional four bedroom layout.
The upper level captures broad views across Chalk Sound, with a living room and dining space opening to a covered balcony over the water. Louvered windows and ceiling fans keep the breeze moving, and the lagoon stays in view from the sofa to the table.
The lower level connects straight out to the pool terrace and the waterfront beyond. The pool and patio sit only steps from the lagoon, with sun loungers, a covered dining terrace and a sand edge running down to the water.
Swim, kayak or paddleboard straight from the property into the calm, shallow water of the sound. Mornings start on the water, afternoons around the pool, evenings looking out over it. Sapodilla Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches on Providenciales, is close by when you want sand and open sea.
Two bedrooms upstairs with the broad views, two downstairs by the pool, a king and a queen on each level, and a sleeping loft with a sofa bed under the beams. As TKCA runs it the house sleeps eight. Bright white interiors, timber doors and water views keep it light and simple to live in.
Juan Del Mar is rented and managed by TKCA, one of the top villa management companies on the island and known for the standard of its guest experience. The management and the guest systems are in place today, so a buyer can carry on with the rental from day one or take the house for themselves.
